Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Guruji Satsang Mart. Please read them, especially sections 4, 9 and 11.

1. About these terms

Guruji Satsang Mart (“the app”) is operated by Travelcafe Travel and Visa Services, a proprietorship based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use the app

3. What the app is, and what it is not

The app helps people organise satsangs, ask for a seat, and arrange seva for those satsangs, such as water (jal), chai, langar, decoration, sound and seating.

When you sponsor seva, you are paying us for a service that we arrange. You are not donating to a temple, trust or person, and we do not issue tax-exemption receipts for donations. We issue a GST invoice.

5. How seva works

  1. An organizer describes what a satsang needs, for example “chai for 50 guests”. Organizers do not ask for money and do not set a price.
  2. We invite quotes from suitable vendors in that city and category for a limited time.
  3. We choose a vendor using price and track record. Vendor identities and the other quotes are not shared with organizers or sponsors.
  4. We show the final price. Any signed-in user can sponsor the seva by paying that price.
  5. We arrange delivery through the vendor, who acts as our subcontractor. Your contract is with us, not with the vendor, and we are responsible to you for delivering the seva as described.
  6. The organizer confirms delivery in the app.

If no vendor quotes for a requirement, it stays unpriced and cannot be sponsored until the organizer opens it again. Sponsoring seva does not give you a seat at the satsang, and having a seat does not oblige you to sponsor anything.

6. Prices, GST and invoices

Prices are in Indian rupees. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. It includes our service charge and GST at the rate that applies to that seva. We issue a GST invoice for every payment. Prices come from vendor quotes, so the price of similar seva can differ between cities, vendors and dates.

7. Payments

You pay us through a third-party payment gateway using the methods it offers, such as UPI. We do not store your card or UPI details. If money is deducted but your seva shows as unpaid, your bank or the gateway normally reverses it. If that does not happen, contact us with the transaction details.

8. Delivery and disputes

Organizers confirm delivery, and vendors may upload proof such as photos. If you think a seva was not delivered, or was delivered badly, raise a dispute in the app. We will review what the organizer, the vendor and the proof show, ask questions if needed, and decide in good faith. We may refund, arrange redelivery, or reject the dispute. This does not affect any right you have under law.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Seva is arranged for a specific satsang date, and a vendor is engaged once you pay. So you cannot cancel a paid seva, except as set out here.

We refund you in full if:

If a satsang is postponed, we will try to move the seva to the new date. If we cannot, we will refund you. If only part of a seva is delivered, we will refund a fair part of the price. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 7 working days after we approve them, depending on your bank.

10. If you host a satsang

11. If you attend a satsang

Satsangs often take place in private homes. We do not run background checks, and we do not verify the identity of anyone who hosts, attends or delivers, or the venue itself. Use your own judgement, tell someone you trust where you are going, and leave if you feel unsafe. In an emergency, call 112. We are not responsible for what happens at a gathering, and you attend at your own risk. To report a concern, write to [[SUPPORT EMAIL]].

12. If you are a vendor

13. Reliability indicators

To help people decide, we show a guest’s attendance record to organizers, and an organizer’s “would attend again” percentage to guests. Individual answers are never shown. These figures come from what users report. They may be incomplete or wrong, and we do not guarantee them.

14. What you must not do

15. What you post

You keep ownership of what you post, such as descriptions and photos. You give us permission to store and show it as needed to run the app, including to the people named in our Privacy Policy. Post only what you have the right to share.

16. Suspension and ending your account

We may suspend or remove an account, listing or vendor if you break these terms, we suspect fraud, safety is at risk, or the law requires it. You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account. Paid seva that is still pending will be handled under section 9.

17. What we do not promise

We provide the app as it is. We try to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for what users say or do. This does not limit our responsibility for delivering the seva we sell, as set out in sections 5 to 9.

18. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the seva that the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

19. Claims caused by you

To the extent the law allows, you will cover our losses that come from your breach of these terms, or from your misuse of the app or of another person’s information.

20. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms. A change does not alter a seva you have already paid for.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurgaon, Haryana can hear any dispute, but this does not take away any right you have under consumer protection law. Please write to us first, so we can try to fix the problem.
